another little fine art painting. as much as i love realism and naturalism i also love iconic and naive work. i think we all have concurring personalities vying for expression.

Intriguing! I really love how all of the pieces overlap and blend. Awesome. :)

very imaginative, i love the sense of narrative here especially :)
thank you. The Adam and Eve story intrigues me so I often use male and female figures in the context of the "loss of perfect love" and the various narratives that accompany that perennial drama.
Thank you again! I think, intuitively, that has something to do with the fact that we are all spiritually entangled.
 That's a cool way of looking at it.

the old adam & eve story is a classic
the loss of perfect love isn't something
i've experienced personally but it's still a
theme that i can still appreciate :)
I like the colors & moods of your pieces. This is a very well thought composition. I like how this is all particularly balanced, and as I already sort of stated, the mood is winsome.

I agree and understand what you express about different styles within a person, not all of them get the stage equally, but all exist. Maybe some of them you aren't even aware of, yet.

:) What media did you use? This piece looks like it has not-so-small dimensions. Where are you from?
I am originally from Serbia and currently live inthe US. This piece is actually relatively small, but many of the others are large. I used mixed media in this. First I painted with acrylics for the underpainting. This is mixed in with graphite and inks. Then, when I'm satisfied with that stage I seal the surface with alkyd resins and paint on top of it with oil glazes. Then all this is done I sometimes sand away certain areas for that "gritty" look. Then I seal the whole thing with a varnish. This piece is heavy rag paper pasted on a wooden box armature. I prefer panel but also use canvas, especially when pasting cloth collage elements. Thank you for stopping by, your kind words are very appreciated.
